The average life span is 15 years, but with good care and service this can be much greater. Semi-annual inspections are recommended.

We honour all manufacturers warrantees and include a 1 year labour warranty on all our installations.

All furnaces make different levels of noise based on age and efficiency, but loud humming or grinding, or a change in noise level, may mean a future problem and we recommend having it looked at.

The two most common reasons are restricted airflow and lack of refrigerant. If you notice this happening, turn your A/C off and call us to service your equipment.

There are lots of different filter sizes and qualities available. They will have a MERV (minimum efficiency reporting value) rating from 1-20. The higher the number, the more dense the filter.

We do not recommend anything higher than MERV 13. Ideally, a MERV 8 filter is better for your equipment's efficiency.
